Documents Required

• PAN card of the applicant
• Applicant’s aadhar card
• Caste certificate of the applicant
• Passport size photo of the applicant
• Original residence certificate of the applicant
• Information about the applicant’s bank related passbook and other documents, FD etc.
• Documents related to the applicant’s land like rent, receipt, LPC agreement, view map etc.

Benefits and Features of Bihar Goat Farm Scheme

• Bihar Goat Farming Scheme has been started by the Chief Minister of Bihar.
• Under this scheme, the citizens of Bihar who want to do goat rearing will be given benefits.
• Citizens of General Category and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe will be provided benefits under this scheme.
• Any unemployed farmer or citizen can apply under this scheme by rearing goats.
• If you apply for 20 goats, 40 goats or 100 goats under any scheme, then you are provided more than 50% grant amount.
• More grant amount is provided to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
• By applying under this scheme, you can get a grant amount of lakhs of rupees and make yourself self-reliant and empowered.

Bihar Goat Farm Scheme Eligibility

• Only the citizens of Bihar will get the benefit of this scheme.
• To avail the benefit of this scheme, you must have at least 20 goats and one goat.
• If you are already doing goat rearing then you can get benefits under this scheme.
• Unemployed youth can also apply under the scheme.

How to Apply

If you also want to apply for this scheme, then for that you will have to follow the steps given below:-

• You will have to go to the office of the Animal Husbandry Officer of your respective district.
• Here you have to tell that you want to apply for Goat Farm Scheme.
• Whatever information is asked from you in the application form, you have to enter it carefully.
• After that, self-attested photocopies of all the required documents have to be attached with the application form.
• After that you have to submit this application form to the office of the Animal Husbandry Officer.
• After verification of your application form, if you are found eligible then you will be given the benefit of this scheme.
